Celebrating Filipino American Women Authors: Food, Friends, and Fugitives

I'm stoked to announce that I will be moderating a Filipino American author event this October, in honor of Filipino Heritage Month!

Join me as we celebrate the vibrant Filipino culture through the power of literature. Hosted by Bel Canto Books, FilAm ARTS, and the Women's National Book Association, they've set up a lineup of Filipino American authors who will be sharing their stories, experiences, and insights with us.

This event is not just about books, it's about connecting and celebrating diversity.

Whether you're a bookworm or simply curious, expect an evening of engaging discussions and a whole lot of inspiration. You'll have the opportunity to interact with these authors and gain valuable insights into their creative processes.

So mark your calendars for this event on October 10th at 6:00 pm PT. Spread the word, invite your friends. It's online, free, and introvert friendly.

Our stories matter. Let's shine a spotlight on the Filipino American literary community!

See you there!

Hi, thanks for stopping by!

I'm here to share my stories of being the family black sheep, an adult child of an immigrant, and a first-generation adult.

If any of this resonates with you, I'd love to hear your story - shoot me an email!
