Real Talk: 'How to be Love(d)' by Humble The Poet
I saw a few heavy hitters in the self-help author world at the Hay House conference in Phoenix this weekend. After listening to inspiring key notes and connecting with ancient mother lines through repeated chant and meditation (which I loved), towards the end of the schedule, I couldn't help but feel like there was something left to be desired.
What was I looking for? I couldn't tell you exactly.
The last session I decided to attend was by Humble The Poet.
And there it was. Humble's talk just HIT. He dished about growing up as the child of an immigrant father, the gifts of anxiety, his journey as a creative, regrets, and everything in between.
I picked up his book 'How to be Love(d): Simple Truths for Going Easier on Yourself, Embracing Imperfection & Loving Your Way to a Better Life'
No fluff, no B.S. It's all about digging deep, finding that love inside yourself, and recognizing your worth. It's written like he's right there, pushing you to make a change in how you see yourself and the love you deserve.
Pick it up.
In a world where it feels like you gotta hustle for love, 'How to be Love(d)' flips the script, telling you to ditch the old ideas and make space for your own love to shine. If you're looking to level up your self-love game and vibe with your true worth, this is a real one.
Then I realized, of course this is what you were looking for, Jazzie--of the the few things that matter--it was authenticity.
